You’ll be simply spoilt for choice when choosing your new furry friend at DARG this month… Come meet your new best friend this December. This is an incredible rescue story. A couple were driving along near the Panorama area on Friday, 1 May when they spotted a terribly unkempt dog at the side of the road. They rescued him and brought him in to DARG. MIRACLE is our Pet Of The Week! This friendly, female German Shepherd X was found in Oranjezicht (Cape Town City Bowl area) on Wednesday, 13th August 2008. She is spayed, has a distinct black spot on her tongue, is not micro-chipped, but was wearing a collar when found. After going missing for exactly three weeks, someone spotted him not even a km from our house. He had been knocked by a car possibly the night he got out, but was in excellent shape considering.
