Guaranteed to always make you smile… OliverThis special ‘man’ is about 20 yrs old. His owner had him for 19yrs but recently passed away. His wife and 2 children cannot afford to keep Oliver. Oliver is ridiculously affectionate and will steal your heart, he’s just that kinda cat! He purrs and he doesn’t mind being picked up. He has a little bit of trouble retracting his nails and he is a little skinny so he needs lots of TLC. It’s just not fair that he should have to spend the remainder of his life in a shelter.
Rain+-2yr old female orange tabby. Found, never claimed. Rain has been a wonderful foster mommy to many orphaned kittens but it’s now time to find her a home where she can be the baby herself.
Shadow+-11mth old female. Owners couldn’t keep. Super affectionate, super playful, super talkative. Loves cuddles!
Angel+-2yr old tortie female. Left behind by owners and brought in by the neighbor. Quiet, lovable, affectionate lady. Needs TLC.

The following wonderful, fantastic animals have found new homes and loving families. Yay!
Bobby+-1yr old Cross Breed (long Corgi-like body). Super friendly, affectionate, playful. Great w/ kids and other dogs. Gene +-3yr old male Lab X. Found on the highway. Gene is still a little nervous in new surroundings but soon settles. He’ll need some confidence boosting and a lot of TLC (which he demands anyways).
Zita and pups
Zita gave birth to 6 beautiful pups on the 15th May! They are all healthy and strong. Zita and her babies are still looking for a foster home where they can be for the next 2 months until they can all be put up for adoption.

Tipsy +-3yr old female Africanis. Was a wonderful mother to her 7 pups and now it’s her turn to relax and have some fun with her new family! Tipsy is a quiet, affectionate, protective, well mannered lady.

+-9mth old female Africanis (beautiful ridge on her back). Owners emigrated and sadly, she didn’t! Alice is sweet, gentle, good w/ dogs, kids and cats, well mannered, and desperate for some TLC and a new family to keep her loved and safe.
FarrahYoung female DLH. Found – not claimed. Farrah is pregnant and will have her babies at DARG. Once her kittens are 8 weeks old they will be homed, Farrah will be spayed and she will then need to loving home where she can rest. She is sweet and not very demanding.

+-3mth old female Africanis. Rescued, emaciated. She’s now gaining weight and confidence! Belinda is ridiculously friendly and promises to make a wonderful pet!

+-9mth old female Alsation X Husky. Owner couldn’t keep. Friendly, playful, energetic, clever. Needs basic training and lots of exercise.

Senior female Pug. Owner couldn’t keep. Sweet Jessica is desperate for a home where she will get all the loving and care she is so used to. She is lively and very affectionate and all she needs is a lap to sleep on! Think you have a little space in your heart for Jessica?
Uli
-2yr old male Cocker Spaniel. Owner couldn’t keep. Bouncy, lively, affectionate, clever boy! Ready to be your faithful companion!
DARG is offering cat boarding services until August. R50 per room per cat. If more than 1 cat sharing it will be R35 per cat. Please contact the office for details!
