We found this poor pup emaciated and abused, and managed to rescue her in the nick of time. We’ve been feeding her up, and already she is looking much better. We’re not sure how this happened, but for some reason, The Argus decided they were going to neglect DARG in this year’s ADOPT-A-PET feature that runs on Saturday. They didn’t contact us, and we didn’t know about it until it was too late to do anything about it. Massive thanks to Tracey Pace for donating R1500 towards our environmental cleanup. Also huge thanks to Larissa Harmsen and Savio, who donated R500 towards it. People like you keep us up and running and help to keep the animals safe, clean, warm and content while they wait for their new families! You guys rock! Yes, that’s right folks, it’s PETS-200 week here at DARG! Hey all. Every now and again we need to give our property a once-over to make sure that the environment stays healthy and happy. Guys ‘n gals…. We have a serious appeal for you all: Hi all. We urgently need ceiling boards!! If anyone has any, or can get us some, please give us a shout at the office or email us here. We, as well as other shelters, have had a huge intake of abandoned cats and dogs lately. The extra mouths to feed has taken its toll on our food stock. |
