Xena+-5yr old female Pitbull X. Rescued 2 years ago after being burnt on her back with hot oil. Adopted and recently returned after new owner decided to move (without her). Adorable, super playful, super affectionate, super cuddly, loyal and protective, strong. Needs to be a single pet. Belly rubs a must!

Casper +-7yr old male Bull Terrier. Found – never claimed. Strong, friendly, typical Bully. DARG would prefer homing Casper to Bully experieneced owners. Conditions apply. TwixieFemale Alsation X. We found this poor pup emaciated and abused, and managed to rescue her in the nick of time. We’ve been feeding her up, and already she is looking much better. She’s an incredibly sweet and gentle dog who loves human company as well as other dogs. Twixie needs a foster home for a couple of months to recover fully before she finds her forever home. When she’s better, Twix is going to make some lucky family a really outstanding pet.
Lollie+-3yr old female Staffie. Owner couldn’t keep. Lollie is a “all eye on me” kinda gal and needs to be in a single pet household. She absolute loves children and is just the sweetest wiggliest baby!!

The following fluffy, furry, friendly and fantastic animals found their forever homes recently! Some of them have been old-timers at DARG. Mowgli had been with us for 9 years before she decided on the right people to take her home!
Kiera+-4yr old Pitbull X. Kiera’s best activity is to watch TV on the couch over some biscuits. She’s a great companion, bonds well with people, is love-starved and is a real softie! Must be in a single pet household or share with laid back male dog. Oh! And she’s allergic to cats… so no cats please!
MowgliThis wonderful dog has been with us for years, but has finally found a loving home. Good luck Mowgli, we’ll miss you!

Mungo
When Mungo came in, he was dirty, had matted, irritated skin, a serious injury on her back leg where bone was exposed. Here’s Mungo today: clean, healed leg, groomed, adorable, bouncy, joyous little guy! Loves life!
Storm
This very old lady was abandoned and is desperate for another chance to end her days in a loving comfy home. Her hobbies are sleeping, licking, snuggling and nudging. She is very fond of kids and doesn’t mind other CALM 4 legged creatures. DARG is willing to help with her arthritis medication, all she really needs is a soft doggie bed and lots of cuddles! Storm has enormous amounts of love to give!!
Thumper
Senior male Cocker Spaniel. Owner couldn’t keep. Full of life, very affectionate, well mannered, quiet boy. Loves to snuggle up against you!
Coffee+-6mth old female Ridgeback. Found emaciated and with mange – unclaimed. Coffee is super friendly and super strong. Needs basic training and lots of exercise. Her hair is growing back slowly, but she would do much better in a home!
DustySmallish male cross breed. Very friendly and affectionate. Playful, alert, good w/ others dogs, cats and kids. Owner couldn’t keep. The perfect PET!
RoccoSPECIAL NEEDS: (Previously known as Josh) Returned after 4 months. Owners moved over seas… without Rocco! He is now about 6mths old and ridiculously friendly. Rocco is deaf and will need special attention from his new FOREVER family.
Téa+-4mth old female Collie X. Bought from vagrant in town. Very loving, affectionate, alert. Ready to be part of a loving family!!

The following wonderful, fantastic animals have found new homes and loving families. Yay!
Bobby+-1yr old Cross Breed (long Corgi-like body). Super friendly, affectionate, playful. Great w/ kids and other dogs. Gene +-3yr old male Lab X. Found on the highway. Gene is still a little nervous in new surroundings but soon settles. He’ll need some confidence boosting and a lot of TLC (which he demands anyways).
Zita and pups
Zita gave birth to 6 beautiful pups on the 15th May! They are all healthy and strong. Zita and her babies are still looking for a foster home where they can be for the next 2 months until they can all be put up for adoption.

Tipsy +-3yr old female Africanis. Was a wonderful mother to her 7 pups and now it’s her turn to relax and have some fun with her new family! Tipsy is a quiet, affectionate, protective, well mannered lady.

+-9mth old female Africanis (beautiful ridge on her back). Owners emigrated and sadly, she didn’t! Alice is sweet, gentle, good w/ dogs, kids and cats, well mannered, and desperate for some TLC and a new family to keep her loved and safe.
FarrahYoung female DLH. Found – not claimed. Farrah is pregnant and will have her babies at DARG. Once her kittens are 8 weeks old they will be homed, Farrah will be spayed and she will then need to loving home where she can rest. She is sweet and not very demanding.

+-3mth old female Africanis. Rescued, emaciated. She’s now gaining weight and confidence! Belinda is ridiculously friendly and promises to make a wonderful pet!

+-9mth old female Alsation X Husky. Owner couldn’t keep. Friendly, playful, energetic, clever. Needs basic training and lots of exercise.

Senior female Pug. Owner couldn’t keep. Sweet Jessica is desperate for a home where she will get all the loving and care she is so used to. She is lively and very affectionate and all she needs is a lap to sleep on! Think you have a little space in your heart for Jessica?

Station+-1yr old Africanis. Found – never claimed. Lively, alert, friendly, playful boy. Andi+-18mth old female Africanis X Terrier. Rescued in a neglected condition. Her foster mom worked miracles with her and now it’s time to find her a forever family. She’s playful, alert, friendly, housetrained.
+-3yr old female Cross Breed. Rescued with injured leg. Vets determined it’s an old break and if unable to fix it, the leg will have to be amputated. Constance is very mobile with 3 legs!! She’s alert, friendly and protective.
+-1yr old female Rottie. Owner passed away. Super bouncy and friendly. Only experienced Rottie owners need apply. Tosca is NOT a guard dog and must be an indoor pet!!

Young Husky X Lab female. Rescued off the streets. Adorable personality despite her pitiful condition. She’s getting all the feeding she needs and her hair will soon grow back! She would have a much speedier recovery in a home and would greatly benefit from foster care!
Barnaby and Lexie
+-4yr old Daschunds. The tan one is male and the black/tan is female. Owner emigrating. Housetrained, friendly, affectionate. Preferably to be homed together to a family with no small children.

+-2yr old female cross breed (mainly Lab X GSD). Owner could not afford to keep. Super affectionate, playful, lively girl! Desperate to be part of a family again. Would love to be homed with her “brother” Lucky – but DARG will not deny a good home offered to just one of them.
