Success! Alex loves his new home!!

Here’s another letter from the mum of a happily homed pet. This time it’s Lila Stapleton, who is the thrilled mum of a gorgeous kitty!

Dearest DARG.

Just a quick note to tell how happy our baby is. We adopted Alex (originally Jason) from DARG in August 2008. I am so happy to tell you that there isn’t a happier cat in the world!

He absolutely loves chatting to me while I’m busy in the kitchen and his favourite nap-spot is in my cupboard. He also loves attempting to hunt (as you can see in the picture).

Fortunately for the wild life in our area, he is actually a bit of a scaredy cat and hasn’t succeeded in catching anything yet.

Thanks again for bringing this wonderful man into our lives. We laugh at him and love him every day.

It’s an absolute pleasure, Lila. It always warms our hearts to hear from our kitties. We’re really happy that Alex is settling in well. I wouldn’t worry too much about the Guinea Fowl – We’ve seen many a cat try for one only to be chased away by its crazed squawks!
