Featured kitty: Leo

LeoLeo is a magnificent, gentle and loving cat who was recently diagnosed with FIV. This virus affects up to 15% of cats and can be transmitted from mother to kitten, or through bites and scratches. FIV cannot be transmitted to dogs or humans.

There are no visible signs of illness, and Leo looks and behaves like any healthy, happy cat. He needs a loving family with no cats and preferably a contained indoor environment where he won’t be able to expose other cats to the virus.

If you think you are able to provide that loving, safe and contained environment, Leo would be thrilled to hear it. You can get a message to Leo via his human helpers at DARG on:

(021) 790 0383 or (021) 790 2050.

Alternatively enquire via email to: info@darg.org.za.
